Camp Enterprise is a 3-day camp for high school juniors and seniors held at True Friends Camp Courage in Maple Lake, Minnesota. Camp E is designed to introduce students to the free enterprise system and encourage entrepreneurship and ethical business practices.
Each year about 120 juniors and seniors attended Camp Enterprise from high schools across Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. Any student seeking an opportunity to develop their leadership skills is a great candidate to participate. Students with an interest in business, entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation are encouraged to attend. The experience is often life changing.
The cost to attend Camp Enterprise is $500 per student, including meals and lodging. This cost is funded entirely through sponsorship from local Rotary Clubs throughout Districts 5950 and 5960, so there is NO OUT OF POCKET COST to the student.

Camp Enterprise is held at True Friends Camp Courage in Maple Lake, Minnesota.
While at Camp Enterprise, students have the opportunity to build new friendships, participate in team-building activities, enjoy presentations and panel discussions from a series of keynote speakers and business specialists, learn the basic skills needed to write a business plan, and network with business professionals and students from other schools.
At the core of Camp Enterprise is an in-depth case study exercise. Students are placed on teams and assigned a case study containing a set of basic facts and financial information for a hypothetical product or innovation. Each team is tasked with developing a product concept, brand, marketing strategy, and terms of investment. The culmination of Camp Enterprise involves each team making a “pitch” to a panel of venture capitalists regarding a potential investment in their company.
If you are interested in attending Camp Enterprise, please go to Register and complete the Student Registration form and the corresponding Student Waiver & Consent form. Both must be completed before submitting your application. If you have a relationship with a local Rotary Club and they have agreed to sponsor you, please indicate that club in your registration. If you don’t have a relationship or a committed sponsorship, please select NEED A SPONSORSHIP. If you are deemed eligible, we will assist in finding a sponsorship for you. Once we have all the details matched, we will confirm your registration and attendance for Camp E. Camp E can accept up to 120 students. Our goal is to get a diverse group of students from across MN & Western WI. We try to limit 5-10 students from any one high school to participate where appropriate.
Students need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, personal hygiene products, and warm, comfortable clothing. Students are allowed to bring cell phones and laptops, but the use of those devices is subject to our Technology Usage Guidelines. All other materials are provided at camp.

The dress code at Camp Enterprise is casual. You should plan to dress in layers, as some activities occur outside. You should also bring sturdy, close-toed shoes for our team-building activities.
We provide 3 meals a day at Camp Enterprise, along with several snack/beverage breaks. We encourage students to bring a reusable water bottle to help reduce waste. If you have specific dietary needs, whether for religious, health, or other reasons, please let us know in advance.
All students are expected to utilize the buses provided to get to and from Camp Enterprise. There is limited parking at Camp Courage and for security reasons, we seek to have all students utilize our transportation to and from Camp Enterprise. We recognize that for certain students from certain communities, coming to Edina to catch the bus is not practical. Therefore, students may request to be dropped off and picked up at Camp Enterprise by a legal adult or may drive themselves with prior approval and authorization. If multiple students from the same community are seeking to drive themselves to Camp Enterprise, we might seek coordination for carpooling.
If you have completed the registration process but are unable to attend, please notify us immediately, along with your sponsoring Rotary Club.
Please note, cancellations less than ten (10) days prior to Camp may be subject to reimbursement of the $500 sponsorship fee.
